Why should I go to a place where families can come together while the single person comes alone, worships alone, then leaves alone? Since I'm on my own anyway, I'd rather worship God anyplace else than a church full of negative reminders of how single I am. Please do say join the choir or some other ministry. I've been there and done that and am still ostracized, discriminated, and ignored because I am not married. Since the church places little value on singles why do you wonder why singles place little value on church? Yea its because you, already married, don't know, don't care, or even have the sensitivity to relate to singles. Just take a look at that family picture on your article and try to wonder how does a single person feel looking at that photo and reading another pro family message of togetherness. While the world acknowledges the increased existence of single people the real question should be why is the church ignoring the great commission of going into all the world and making disciples of everyone?
